In September, a historic carousel (originally created in 1922) was installed in Brooklyn Bridge Park. It was the project of a Brooklyn artist Jane Walentas, who purchased the carousel with her husband David at an auction in 1984. She then began the process of restoring it back to its original condition.

Now, Jane's Carousel delights children and adults alike. We spoke to Jane about her work on it and its impact in the community. Take a look.
