This time last year I was thinking about 2011 with great anticipation. I was hoping to find a new job — which I did — and I was planning my wedding — which took place in November (that's a picture of my husband and I). It was a great year for me, by most accounts the best year of my life.
I found a great piece on Health.com about New Year’s resolutions — in order to keep more of them, simplify your list. To really determine if you’ll keep the resolution, imagine yourself in 2013 (yikes!). Would you be grateful you made the change? If not, don’t bother.
I’ve never been one for resolutions. But this year I think I’ll try one or two.
What’s different for me now is that 2012 is a completely open book. While 2011 was exciting because of all that was planned, 2012 is exciting because nothing is.
