Tip # 2 Alternatives for Financial Pressure

This holiday season brings with it added pressures, which can take the joy out of the season.  One such pressure is financial pressure.  There is no doubt that an economy like this one increases financial pressure.  If you have had a financial setback, it can be especially difficult facing the fact that there is less money to spend on the holiday season then there was before.

I encourage you to keep in mind that you are not alone.  Many people are in the same boat and spending far less on the holidays then they did in years past.  Consider providing a "gift of time."  This gift is far more valuable to the average person than a gift of monetary value.  Providing the "gift of time" could turn out to be the most heartfelt holiday you've ever experienced.  Homemade gifts, photographs, meals, spending time with someone,or how about giving someone on your list a scalp massage or organizing their kitchen cabinets?  These types of gifts are treasured much more than retailers want you to know!

Please post your best "gift of time" ideas for others to share with our readers.
