Signe Baumane, an artist in all sense of the word, is currently working on a film centered around depression and mental illness. Look for her future release: Rocks In My Pockets, which handles the topic from a personal perspective with sensitivity and humor.
Born in Latvia, Signe started her career in Moscow before moving to New York City in 1995, where she began working for reknown animator and Academy Award winner Bill Plympton. Signe made a name for herself and continues to break down barriers as an artist with her non-conformist approach.
