Penny Reep, 50, won $3 million off of a Pennsylvania lottery scratch-off ticket. First on her agenda? Taking her husband on his dream cruise to Alaska.
“My husband has a very rare form of cancer and it’s not curable,” Reep said. “We don’t know how long we have with him. He’s no longer able to work and I’ve been trying to take care of him, but I’m also having health problems.”
Reep’s husband suffers from a stage-3 cancer usually found in children.
Of the cruise, sara “It was always a pipe dream. Now, I’m going to be able to give him everything he’s always wanted.”
“It’s been a true struggle mentally, physically, financially, emotionally,” she said, in a separate interview. “And now we’re actually able to help give back again to people that helped us through our roughest time.”
