The divorce between Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner has finally been settled. Child support was set at $63,209, down from both the $175,057 that Christine had requested and the $129,755.
Kevin had previously stated that, “my biggest concern is that the court orders me to pay child support that is above the needs of my children and for the needs of Christine.”
In the midst of the separation, both parties are focused on the comfort and quality of life of their shared children: Hayes, Wyatt, and Grace.
“I need to figure out how I’m going to spend more time with the children, walk them through this process,” Costner said. “I am going to need to take some time for myself. … I have a lot to contemplate — what I have to do versus what I want to do.”
No word yet if Baumgartner will be granted an additional fee to cover her lawyer’s costs, however she will be required to pay Costner 14K.
