Radaronline has learned that after three years, John Travolta might be ready to hit the market again. Tragically, Travolta lost his wife Kelly Preston to breast cancer after a private and hard fought battle. Preston was 57.
Preston and Travolta shared three children together including Jett Travolta, their eldest son who passed away at the age of 16. They also have Ella Bleu, 22, and Benjamin, 12.
Sources close to Travolta revealed that due to friends and family he has finally decided to look ahead in the future when it comes to love.
“It’s a burden he can’t continue to bear, and he knows it,” spilled a source. “He knows that life is too short for remorse and constant anguish — especially after the death of his good friend Kirstie Alley.”
It has also been reported that Travolta is hesitant to consider dating again in order to ‘respect’ his late wife’s memory. Radaronline referred to Travolta as ‘unwilling’ and ‘unable’ to wrap his head around the idea of being with someone else, nevermind, possibly falling in love with someone else. However, it seems time might be allowing for some things to change.
“But now that more than a year has passed since Kelly died, John is starting to warm up to the idea of sharing his life with someone special,” an insider told OK!. “Of course, he’s not going to rush into anything serious so soon, but going on a few dates and sharing a meal and conversation sounds good to him for now.”
“Kelly lovingly gave John approval to find someone else…She told him she didn’t want him to go through life alone. She knew the kids would always be there for him, but she wanted him to have a companion and she trusted him to use his judgment.”
