A new biopic from Sophia Coppola, titled “Priscilla”, follows the life of Priscilla Presley, as told in Presley’s autobiography.
Presley was the wife of Elvis Presley, until they divorced in 1973. Despite their separation, Priscilla became a co-trustee of the Presley estate, after Elvis’ father passed in 1979. It was Priscilla who suggested opening Graceland to the public to obtain more income, after she personally researched how similar houses made money. After, a series of good investments and her own business ventures, including a linen and perfume line, as well as acting and modeling pursuits, gave her a healthy net worth.
Priscilla Presley is valued somewhere around $50 million, a number that’s likely to increase with her recent voice acting work in ‘Agent Elvis’, a show she is producing, as well as increased interest in her life following the recent financial debacle between she and granddaughter, Riley Keough.
