Distance makes the heart grow fonder. And so do joint prison sentences. Todd and Julie Chrisley were reality TV royalty before they were found guilty of taking part in a tax fraud scheme that amounted to around thirty million dollars. According to the couple’s lawyer, their time apart has done nothing but bring them closer amidst rumors of a possible divorce.
“I can assure you that in no way are Todd and Julie moving toward divorce. In fact, I can confirm that Julie is more in love with Todd today than ever,” the pair’s lawyer, Jay Surgent, told RadarOnline in an exclusive comment. “Tragedy and pain, suffering and hardship, have a way of binding people together in ways that triumph and victory are unable to achieve. There is something about experiencing painful and difficult times together that just has a way of forging a bond that is unbreakable.”
The lawyer added that Julie ‘desperately’ misses her husband. “She makes statements like she wishes she could just be there to make sure he is eating or wishes she could just check on him and make sure he is OK,” he continued. “In the same regard, Todd is madly in love with Julie. His first questions on each call are about her and her wellbeing.’
The couple is expected to appeal their sentences and take the case all the way up to the highest court in the land. In the meantime, we hope the Chrisley’s are reunited soon and work towards repairing their family.
