Every relationship comes with its own set of trials and tribulations, however this does not mean we should stay in a crippling relationship. If you feel like the fire in your relationship is no longer kindling then here are five signs it might be time to part ways.
Where’d my happiness go?
Yes things change- but if it’s for the worse that can be trouble. You are becoming unhappier by the moment and over time you noticed that you’re just not as happy with this person as you were before, it might be better to let go of this person rather than prolong a unhappy relationship this way you are not leading your partner on and you are being honest with both yourself and the other person.
The spark is gone
no matter how much you try it’s irredeemable. Over time the excitement in most relationships take a dip. Of course you shouldn’t give up as soon as things simmer down, but if you’ve tried time and time again to revive what once made you happy and it brings you more stress than success or happiness- then it might be time to let go.
What happened to them!?
They’re not what you thought they would be and a lot of things about the person actually make you uncomfortable. Never judge a book by its cover. People won’t always turn out the way you imagine them to be. A person’s true essence is revealed over time and if this revelation distances you from your partner instead of pulling you closer, then it might be time to part ways.
Of course all relationships have their ups and downs, but if you feel like there has been more downs than usual or that you’ve been leaning towards the more depressing avenue then perhaps it’s time to leave before everything becomes even more wrecked.
The key to any greatly flowing relationship is communication. if you feel that your partner is lacking in communication while you’ve been doing nothing but- then it may be time to leave because at this point it’s not fair, especially when your relationship has turned into a one man/ woman shown and your partner doesn’t even put in any effort.
