The inside of my purse used to be a mess. I had random candy wrappers, half-broken pencils and bits of paper everywhere. I recently decided that it was time to take out all of the unnecessary items in my bag and replace them with things that would make me more productive. Here are some items that organized women should have at all times in order to be prepared.
This might seem simple (or even a bit outdated), but you never know when a good idea is going to hit – and physically writing it down is the best way to remember it. This method of brainstorming will also help spark your creativity and introduce new ideas.
There’s always a chance where you’re going to need a little extra money. It’s a good idea to get into the habit of always having cash on you in case of an emergency (something I definitely need to practice), especially because you can’t always pay for things with a credit card.
No one wants to go through the day with a pounding headache or a sudden cramp. If you really want to be prepared for anything, make sure to carry some sort of pain reliever – it will allow you to regroup and refocus when needed.
An extra granola bar
Organized women plan for everything. They’re constantly on the go, and they might not have time to stop what they’re doing and sit down to a full meal. That’s why it’s necessary to carry some sort of snack to give you enough energy to power through the day. You’ll be grateful for it in the moment you’re starving at your desk one day with no lunch break in sight.
Phone and charger
In our day and age, I think it’s rare for people to leave their houses without their phones. However, phone chargers are another story. I never remember mine, and my phone always ends up dying right in the middle of the day. Organized women bring an extra cord with them wherever they go, just in case of a phone emergency.
Especially with the colder season coming, it seems like everyone is sick nowadays. Smart women know that they should always have a small bottle of antibacterial gel in their purses wherever they go. Whether you can’t get to the bathroom to wash your hands before you eat, or you just shook the hand of someone who has been sneezing all day – it’s a good idea to be prepared.
